We move fast and we bill premium. Your job is to ensure that every invoice is issued on time, every expense is tracked, and our financial reporting gives leadership a crystal-clear picture of agency health at all times. You are not a back-office afterthought; you are a critical operational layer that directly enables growth. Without clean books, we fly blind - and that is not how we operate.

This is a flexible, part-time contract role suited to a sharp, self-directed professional who can manage their workload independently. You will own the monthly reconciliation cycle, production expense tracking, and contractor payment runs. You must be comfortable working within fast-moving project budgets and communicating financial constraints clearly to a non-finance leadership team. We expect precision, reliability, and zero tolerance for rounding errors.


  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar cloud-based accounting software
  • Experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly bank reconciliation for a service-based business
  • Ability to process contractor and vendor payments accurately and on schedule
  • Strong understanding of HST/GST filing requirements for Canadian small businesses
  • Experience tracking project-based production budgets and flagging cost overruns proactively
  • Excellent written communication skills - able to translate financial data into plain-language summaries for leadership
  • A disciplined, detail-obsessed mindset with zero tolerance for rounding errors
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally within a creative agency or project-based environment
