Deployment Brief //

Videographer

Capture compelling, cinematic revenue assets for elite automotive, industrial, and high-ticket service brands. This is not a content-creator role - it's a production position.

Location

Ontario / Alberta

Compensation

$45K – $65K / yr

Engagement Type

Full-Time

You will be embedded directly with our production crew, adapting to wildly different environments - from running and gunning on active automotive lots to building controlled lighting grids inside industrial manufacturing facilities and corporate boardrooms. Every shot you pull is a sales asset - not content, not filler. The Creative Director sets the vision; you are responsible for translating that vision into frames that close deals. There is no hand-holding on set and no tolerance for missed focus or blown exposure.

Day to day you will scout locations, pre-light with the gaffer, operate primary and secondary camera positions, and manage the raw media pipeline from card to hard drive. You will work across formats - 60-second brand spots, long-form corporate documentaries, industrial process reels, and high-ticket local service campaigns - adapting your operating style to whatever the brief demands. If you need constant direction for every setup, this seat is not for you. If you thrive under creative pressure and take personal ownership of every frame, read on.

  • We don't care if you shoot on an FX6, a RED, or a $3,000 mirrorless body. As long as it shoots crisp 4K and you know how to squeeze every ounce of dynamic range out of the sensor, you're good. The client pays for the result, not the badge on your rig.
  • You must own a DJI RS-series gimbal and a proper fluid-head tripod. If your shots look like you're operating from a moving rollercoaster, don't apply.
  • You must own professional audio gear (mics/lavs/recorders). Bad audio kills a high-ticket campaign faster than missed focus.
  • Lighting: If you can shape available light like a master, great. If the brief demands heavy fixtures, we can usually supply the gear — but you still need to know exactly where to place them to shape the subject.
  • You have an ego-free, operator mindset. You serve the project, not your Instagram portfolio.
  • You have extreme media management discipline. If you lose a card, you lose your job.
  • You have a reel that actually proves you can shoot commercial automotive, industrial, or premium brand content.
